Hess Select Wines were introduced by Donald Hess in 1989 and are made by the family-owned Hess Collection Winery in Napa Valley. Grapes for our Hess Select wines are carefully chosen by our winemaker from vineyards in Napa Valley, Monterey County and other family-owned vineyards along California’s North Coast.

Winemaker’s Notes

Tropical aromas of freshly-cut pineapple and ripe pear. A soft entry of well-balanced fruit and oak persists all the way to a pleasing finish of honeydew melon and crème brûlée.

Food Pairings

This wine’s natural acidity complements tangy, spicy foods and will offset the richness of creamier dishes. Enjoy with Asian chicken salad, grilled tuna with melted anchovy butter and lemon, or a creamy pasta dish with Portobello mushrooms.
